A Note from the President

The purpose of the Chagrin Falls Booster Club is to afford an opportunity for parents, friends and community members of the Chagrin Falls School District to support the activities of students in all of the Chagrin Falls schools.

Our organization focuses its fund-raising efforts to support both athletic and academic endeavors of all Chagrin Falls students. One hundred percent of all funds raised are given back to benefit the students of the school district. Over the past thirteen years, the Booster Club has donated over $160,000 to assist in financial support for academic programs at all grade levels, provided $101,000 in college scholarships to graduating seniors and contributed over $300,000 to the operating budget of the athletic department. Our contribution to the athletic budget has enabled the district to retain a full-time trainer to safeguard the health and safety of our student athletes. We fund requests from teachers and administrators that fall outside the scope of the school budget, which in recent years have included Mimeo Board technology for the Intermediate and High Schools, a responsive reading program for the Middle School and training for teachers in Understanding by Design, to name a few. In addition and on a more visible scale, the Booster Club helped fund upgrades to the Performing Art Center and the new restrooms at C.S. Harris Stadium, and most recently a donation of $15,000 to the Kids Move Smart Program.

We fund these requests through your participation in our organization and our events. Please consider joining the Chagrin Falls Booster Club at one of the various membership levels being offered by clicking on the tab above. For those who would love to take an even more active role we encourage you to view and sign up for our events, join our mailing list or contact any member of our Board of Directors with questions, comments or concerns. In an effort to connect further with all Boosters the September board meeting will be open for everyone to attend.

  • Night at the Races- Saturday, November 12 at the Federated Life Center
  • Turkey Trot- Thursday, November 24 at Gurney School
  • Dinner Dance-  Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Bertram Inn
